ORANGE JERKY HUT: Mystery, Intrigue and Metallic Dinosaurs in the Sierra Mountains

146 U.S. 395, Cartago, California 93549

Right off scenic Highway 395, and located in the magical town of Cartago, lies an orange shaped building of mystery.

What is this? Who is this? How is this? And why is this?

There's really no rhyme or reason for its existence, so one can't help being intrigued by the total randomness on display here. In fact, you might think you're seeing a desert mirage of some kind upon first glance.

The building is a strange sight indeed: round, bright orange, with circular windows and a stucco pop top. For some odd and unexplained reason, fake green cacti and a metallic dinosaur surround the base, guarding the perimeter from local riffraff, I assume. There's also a sketchy looking motel next door, which doesn't make the situation any more settling.

And here's the kicker: this place supposedly used to sell Beef jerky. Imagine that, a giant orange orb— located in a ghost town slinging delicious beef jerky amongst a metal T-rex and fake cactus patch. Why sell beef jerky and not delicious homemade orange juice? Well, someone seems to be just fucking with us at this point.

HOW THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN?

Since there's no logical explanations (other than the beef jerky connection) I've been able to find, I can only speculate that this was created by aliens.
